In May, the most important thing was the tablecloth. Linen. In fact, I don’t know for what purpose. In a pile of sand were strewn small colored glasses. Grandfather fought in the German army. This was the moment in my life when I think I ran the fastest. There was a squeal when bees flew into the room through some crack. I would ask my grandmother about the recipe for potato flour again. Lettuce, dill, carrots, tomatoes, you just wanted to pick. I would run away, jump under the covers, catch her hand and only then I could sleep. Sometimes I didn’t eat the second one. I wanted to trade my brother this metal button with a glap for a Hitler stamp. But he said the button was lost somewhere. I didn’t like my room. I carried a plate of soup from the kitchen to the room, it was pouring down the rants. The two smaller geese we called Zyta and Zuzia. In the garden, Grandma Magda planted fat hens. And collecting wax for the future, hoping it would still come in handy. Do what you want with this story.
